Description

The Munros are thought to have been Irish Mercenaries who came to Scotland in the eleventh century. They may have originated in Derry in Ireland near the River Roe. By helping King Malcolm II of Scotland to defeat the Vikings they wee rewarded by getting tracts of land in Rosshire. The Munros were vassals of the Earl of Ross in Rosshire on the north shore of the Cromarty Firth. This part of the county is known as the area known as Ferindonald (Donald\’s land) after their first chief.

Highland Clan Flags are intended for indoor or outdoor use. The flags are made from 70 denier high tenacity nylon, chosen for durability and ability to meet our exacting color standards. A rigourous process ensures colours are locked in for long use, and all edges are double stitched for added strength.

Our clan flags are packaged in robust, clear plastic sleeves that both display and protect the contents – perfect for gifts!

Each package includes a fine printed scroll offering an outline of your Clan’s history.
